FLiP Youth Report 2024
According to the Alpine Creditors’ Association, the number of personal insolvencies among under 24-year-olds rose by 22% in 2023. Youth debt and responsible financial planning will also be the focus of the national financial education strategy over the next two years. The fact that Austria’s young people themselves see a need for action in this area is shown by the latest representative youth study conducted by the social enterprise YEP in collaboration with Erste Financial Life Park (FLiP).
FLiP Youth Report 2022
To mark the fifth anniversary of the First Financial Life Park, FLiP commissioned a representative study from YEP – Voice of Youth (association for co-determination, social participation and empowerment of young people) to investigate the question of what the financial education of the future should look like and what young people expect and hope for.
As part of the study, 120 young people worked on this topic in workshops and created questions for the quantitative online survey, in which 800 people between the ages of 14 and 20 took part.
